Beau Monde Madams & Company,Inc. is a community-based non-profit organization for women and men of all magnitudes, founded by Michele Vaughn in 2008. Being a lady of voluminosity herself, she felt that there was a need for an organization such as this one in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Michele set out to design this organization to bring together women and men from all different backgrounds for support, empowerment, social outings, and enjoyment. The organization also promotes community action, healthy lifestyles and education readiness among children. Michele feels that being healthy is a must and we as people have to keep our health in order. In addition to staying nutritionally fit, we must actively pass on our good health tips to our community. With that in mind the organization has workshops dealing with this issue and many others as well. Michele also stands strong on education and feels that it is beneficial to help our youth become successful with their educational goals. To achieve this goal the organization volunteers at a local school working with its students.
Michele also wanted to have a safe, fun place where all statuesque woman and men could go to meet others for an immense time. So the organization has functions geared towards a size acceptance policy atmosphere. Everyone is welcomed with a warm smile and open arms. It's a place where you can totally be who you are!!
She has huge aspirations for this organization to become the largest social organization in the Midwest and nationally. So be on the look out for what's to come for us.
